Mid North Coast Outreach Service

The Mid North Coast Outreach Service provides intensive, time limited 1:1 training and support to people with a disability to live independently.

The service is for a time-limited period of six to nine months and will arrange the necessary assistance for individuals to maximize their independence through appropriate living skills development.

Areas of support may include:

  • Sourcing of accommodation and housing
  • Access to public transport within the community
  • Living Skills (cooking, shopping and home management)
  • Establishing community links and networks
  • Access to education and training
  • Access medical/health services

Service intakes occur three to four times per year and are available to people living anywhere on the Mid North Coast of NSW - from Corindi/Red Rock in the North to Forster/Tea Gardens in the South.

Aboriginal Drop In Service (ADISS)

The ADISS program delivers a culturally appropriate service for aboriginal people living between Kempsey and Coffs Harbour supporting clients to live independently while remaining connected to family, community and culture.  For further information please contact Cindy Lesley on 6650 5300. 

In Home Drop In Support Service (IDISS)

The IDISS program aims to provide training and ongoing support for people with disabilities to reach individual goals for living independently in the community.  For further information please contact Deb Shipman (Program Manager) or Carol Schembri (Coordinator) on 6650 5300.
