24 Hour Support

People with higher support needs may be eligible for 24 hour support where staff support is available across 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

This support is usually provided in a shared arrangement in a normal residential setting. Currently people in 24 hour accommodation support services with CHSS are sharing privately rented, purpose built houses or are sharing Villas and units. Where required, modified housing is sourced.

Participation in community life is promoted and service users are supported in areas ranging from household chores, cooking, shopping, banking, budgeting and personal care through to community access and maintenance of personal networks.
